Upgrade the ram... most laptops come with only one ram card so you can buy a second ram card an double the ram, or buy a bigger ram card and replace the one in the laptop... that being said if your laptop came with 2 gig ram it's probably ancient or really cheap, i don't think they sell 2gig ram cards anymore the lowest I've seen is 4gb
