There was a very easy way to make them understand.
Aside from that, they should be able to see that only one shot was fired.

This concept is in the book Bruiser by Neal Shusterman. It’s such an interesting concept to play around with

Yeah I searched deep into my mind, it's like when you know something but you have a fibre of a thread to grasp so you persistently yet gently tug at it and finally the answer is pulled right out
