I remember a story like this

Once when I was hiking there was a bobcat sitting on a cactus like this just watching people go by and the park rangers were trying to spook him off of it and back into the desert but he was just like "fuck you guys" and wouldn't get down.

Not sure if that's the one or not, but there was a video about a guy who saw a bobcat run up a 40ft (or something) cactus to escape a mountain lion. It just chilled there for a few hours and then jumped down and went on it's way
