I am with you truly the only reason i would buy it but i think they will make a version for PC wich would mean the game's cheaper and online is free. That's if halo 5 is for pc too though.
This was always their plan. Microsoft, the company that makes billions of dollars with Windows and Office, didn't suddenly decide to make games and cranked out the XBox. They think bigger and longer term than that. They made the XBox because they wanted a Microsoft computer in everyones living room and they saw Sony do it with the PlayStation. Now that the XBox is everywhere the Trojan Horse is opening up and we're seeing Microsoft's plan to take over the living room and become integral to everyones lives.
OR people just don't shell out money in the new Xbox. I mean, they put EVERYTHING in the one console. They didn't build it up slowly because it would take far too long. So they've thrown themselves at the mercy of the consumer. Hopefully, the shit sales for the XBox 1 will help then rethink their strategy.
Yes, they had to strike soon because EVERYONE is trying to make the all-in-one box that will become the go-to for media. Right now if I want to watch Netflix or YouTube I can do it on my PS3, XBox, cable box, BlueRay player, or even the damn TV itself and I have 4 controllers lost around the couch because of it. Would it be nice to have all the data feeds and games in one handy box? Yes, it would. Will that box be Microsoft's? We'll see...
I Always Stuck With Ps4 anywayS, And I Was Considering Buying An X One But Now They've Lost. Ps4 SeeMs To Be More In The Consumers Side And Therefore They've Earned My Trust.
im more of a pc gaming person anyway since my dad introduced me to it when i was a little girl (ahh...the nostalgia...) and i was considering to buy either a ps4 or and xbox one and this really helped me decide haha thanks poster
Kinda sorta related...but is anybody planning to wait on these new consoles? I almost always do that, simply because most games suck hard when a new console is first released. For example, I waited until GTA IV came out before I bought a PS3, got MGS4 shortly after, and those were the only 2 games I had for PS3 for quite some time.
On the other hand, I got the Wii U very early this year. I still only have Mario U and Nintendoland, though, so I feel kinda silly. Mario was fun, though, but the gimmicks I can do without. Can't wait for a new Zelda, that last one left a bad taste in my mouth.
Anyway, while I won't be buying a new Xbox (never had one, and this one is shaping up to be an even worse choice, for me) I'll once again be waiting and watching awhile before I buy the new PS. In the meantime, GTA V is coming out in a few months, and if that's anything like IV, I'll be playing that for YEARS. Especially if it's still got an online Free Roam.
I tend to lag almost a year behind the current trends, it used to be because I was poor as fuck. But now that I'm not I still do because it usually turns out better to wait.
He did voice a lot of his own personal opinions, but it's based on the facts that we've already been told about the XBox 1. And while I try not to get caught up in other people beliefs, especially when it comes to consoles, I do have to agree that the Xbox 1 seems like a poor choice.
Did you watch the announcement video that Microsoft put out? Did you go to their website and read the specifications for yourself? No, otherwise you would know that these are not rumors, these are facts provided BY Microsoft. My boyfriend works for Gamestop and has to be well versed on All products, and he has nothing but negative things to say about this console and he has every console ever made so there is no favoritism with him.
