Seems messed up, but the ER docs appreciate a pic so they know what level of intrusion a car had from the impact to gauge the level of force involved in the accident and the potential for injuries. What’s messed up is that the pic ended up public, unless the patient released it himself

If I was him, I’d want one. Reminds me of exactly what I survived. Plus I’m betting insurance companies would LOVE to have this for his claims against the other drivers (if it turns out to be their fault). Police might need it for evidence too, and rescue workers might’ve needed it to better coordinate the rescue. And like the other guest says, the messed but would really be if someone other than the patient released it. Gotta think about other reasons for why a photo might exist, instead of jumping straight toward the “oh, everyone takes pics in situations where they should instead help”. Most people outside of the younger millennial and gen-z would rather help, I feel.
