Summer Sailing in Greenland

I somehow managed to read 'Greece' and was slighthly worried for a second

I've always wondered why this place is called Greenland when it's covered with snow. And Iceland is a lot greener than my grandma's garden lol

So none of you will explain how this is "summer"?
