I hope you all start feeling better soon, especially you guest. If you wanna talk about anything you can, if you're comfortable with it.
@blazingfrags, you going to bed late? or just can't sleep? I can give you some tips to help if you want, from a previous insomniac haha

Guest was me, I don’t even know why it’s happening, I don’t really feel depressed or anything, at least not regularly, but it was just all of a sudden like “I legitimately want to end my life”
I haven’t felt that way since, but it did mess with me a little
It's a scary thing, makes you not trust yourself for a bit. If you get these irregularly maybe you were just under a lot of stress, hormones even or a specific event triggered it. I don't know much about what's going on in your life and you don't need to share but know that with time it does get better and it's good to acknowledge when these thoughts occur.
@parisqeen yeah I go to bed late most of the time due to studies,I don't have any kind of stress tho....I just can't sleep quick I have to lay down for at least 45 mins
Dude I'm the same, it takes me 2-3 hours to fall asleep. When I was studying my sleep schedule went out the window so it gets better during holidays. What I found that helps is going to bed an hour earlier then you normally do, you won't feel tired or want to do it for the first week but eventually your body will fix it's circadian rhythm and you'll get sleepy around that time. I find "pre-dreaming" helps, that's not it's actual name but it's literally creating a dream while laying in bed and completely focusing on that, soon you'll drift off. If you're one of those people (like me) ASMR really helps. But tbh association is key, pick a small routine that you only do before bed, like drinking a cup of milk or brushing your hair and ONLY do it before you fall asleep. Your brain will associate these activities with drowsiness and melatonin will be activated. It has to be consistent though.
Wow thanks Paris I'll try this tonight..... Kinda got positive vibes from ya, and ya you ever get like headache due to this like not very painful but enough to make you really annoyed???
Thanks hope it helps, don't expect results straight away though haha
And yeah all the time, like a sore pressure on the sides of my head. I get headaches like that when I don't get enough sleep but also from dehydration. I never realise until I start drinking how thirsty I am and the headache usually goes away. Honestly there's not much you can do to fix those without sorting out the sleep issue, I massage my jaw and temple, even just pushing then releasing on those certain spots helps a bit.
