It was a sad farewell

One of my only two friends in grade school had ADHD.
He constantly threatened to beat me up and stabbed me in the head with a pencil but I had nobody else to talk to.

That's bittersweet. I am sure he was happy to know you. Small act of kindness makes school easier for some people.
