Going on a boat ride

That's the same as saying that Olympic swimmer is a professional he doesn't need a life vest. The dog needs a vest for the same reason humans needs a life vest. He can swim in water but he can't breath water if knocked out. If your going down the river and some drunk comes flying out and hits you it's going to be chaotic. if the dog is knocked out with a vest on there's a chance if he already sunk before you realize he was in trouble then its to late.or if going out in the ocean and the boat sinks dogs will get tired and drown just like people. We don't make people on the boat that can't swim wear a vest we make everyone wear a vest.
