The potter one made me frown. I am a die hard Potter fan, but the series ended right where it should have and doesn't really need another installment. It's perfect the way it is.

I think what we really need is for the fabulous and amazing J. K. Rowling to rewrite everything but from Voldemort's point of view, meaning we still get new Harry Potter books, but the series ends when it should.
I don't think the series in Voldemort's POV would be very good, because it would just be the same thing over and over again: gotta try and kill Potter. But what about the whole series in Dumbledore's POV, or Lupin's, or a prequel about the Marauder's past, when they met and stuff. I think that's what we need. ;) xD
But Voldemort's view (at least seeing the lead up to conflict with Potter) would give us some perspective, and then I could finally make an informed decision on whether he was entirely evil or if it was partially due to his circumstances. Although I do agree - a Marauder's past book (or series) would be awesome.
