I agree. Doesn’t matter how many kids the shooter slaughters, if there is a team at the school to kill the shooter dead, it’s all good. All problems fixed.
The thought process is that if there is someone to shoot the shooter, they won't kill anyone or at the very least won't be able to kill as many people. And hell, if we're lucky, they'll see the armed guards and decide not to shoot anyone in the first place. Or how about instead of removing my civil rights as an American, we take the parents of the shooters and the school system to task for not teaching kids the value of a life?
