He did a great job, but he maybe should have made it from something sturdier than glass, the stone is much more likely to break or scratch during daily wear.

I read it as her not necessarily requesting one but just stating her style preference. I don’t think any rational person who’s not extremely rich would actually request one of the rarest diamonds in the world. But who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
