You mean That Prat from Erdington.? Yeah he's about as British as Hugh Laurie. Play the part and get the apples. Go to the US and get the money.

As long as they didn't fuck with perfection where Mufasa is concerned, I'm good. The guy voicing Scar is really good, and his voice is distainful and arrogant enough to work.

There was an interview I saw a few months ago with Donald Glover who said that he was really excited to work with Rowan Atkinson as Disney was trying to hire as much of the old cast as possible but Rowan couldn't take the role as he would be filming Johnny English at the same time and couldn't continuously fly between the US and UK. I'll see if i can find the interview...

OK. You go find that. It's voice work. You don't have to fly anywhere. He literally had 6 minutes of voice and a pre-recorded digital song. They didn't offer it to him because he costs money. He's not a prat like John Oliver. John Oliver can't hold the urine bucket that it takes for Rowan Atkinson to relieve himself in.
