I don't see how this gives hope.. If anything it gives me less hope because I would never do that as a child and would discourage my children to use the middle finger
It gives hope because the children are sick of the selfie BS. Or maybe it's the constant recording of every little thing that happens, as if we'll forget, or we really think we're going to view it all later. Oh, and let's not forget uploading it all to fb, as if our 1,000+ "friends" care about them, save for the ones showing a little skin.
Personally, the middle finger thing doesn't bother me at all. From an early age, I did the same thing, along with swearing, getting in fights (not starting them), etc, and look how I turned out. It's not something I learned from my parents, it's just something that most, if not all, kids pick up in the schoolyard. And then we all grow up and stop doing things like that as much because we've become more sophisticated socially...or, we just realized that the more we do it, the more it loses it's meaning.
how can we imagine the next generation to be a good one if all they learn to love are boobies and booties
no ethics nothing
we re all going into the dark ages where women were considered only as a tool for sexual gratification
sad ....
Oh, is this what we're doing, now? And to think, for the past month or so, guests have been getting much more interesting. Way to make your people look bad.
