Fun fact: This can happen without cheating. Most people who are considered sterile actually have a very small chance of having a baby. Obviously this is not the case in some situations (usually if sterilization is a result of injury and surgery) but most often if someone is born sterile they actually have a very very small chance of having a baby.

I had a friend who both she and her boyfriend had been told they couldn't have kids. She got pregnant but since she didn't even consider it a possibility, she didn't realize it until she was over 7 months
