Yes, because it's not like the trolls intentionally sabotaging those reviews got so bad that actors from OTHER FRANCHISES felt the need to step up and say "seriously grow the fuck up and chill". Hell it got so bad BEFORE THE DAMN MOVIE CAME OUT that RT had to disable the review function on the movie.
They were "reviewing" it a month before it came out, when there's no way they saw it. So yes, giving something a bad review when you haven't seen it for the sole purpose of trying to keep people from going to see it IS trolling. What else would you call it? It's what the articles called it.

You weren’t able to leave an actual review on rotten tomatoes before the movie came out, just say wether or not you wanted to see it. Can’t do that now because nobody wanted to see captain marvel, of course.
No, it looks like you can't read. Because what RT disabled was the "want to see the movie or not" section. These are obviously not reviews, just people indicating whether they care enough to go see the movie when it comes out or not. And what you linked was literally people doing the same thing in review form. Just posting that they are excited to see the movie.
Their marketing of the movie and choice of Brie Larson as the title character is what pissed people off. The marketing because it was promoting feminist crap, which as we all know ruined the comicbook industry and was kicked out of the gaming sphere because people hated it. And Brie Larson got flak for saying stupid shit like about the interviewers being overwhelmingly white and male. Plus the early trailers were garbage and she had about as much emotion as a brick.
So people have legit reasons to be pissed off, as the correlation of critic and audience scores show.
