On a serious note, it's good that you want to help (mentally) ill people but don't forget to take care of yourself.
It can get too much from time to time and as someone who volunteerly listened to all sorts people with mental illness (if you have hearded of 7cups, that's where i was for a pretty long time), I say it's absolutely exhausting.
Because no matter how much you want to help someone, there are times when you don't have enough, it's very frustrating but it's fact.
That's why there are professional therapists.

You're NOT responsible for anyone's happiness but yourself. You do NOT have to be there, if you do, good, if it's drowning you, let go.
No one can blame you.
