Note to OP: This was a real story. Her friend's dad told her she was on the news and took a picture. She was talking about it on the Steve Harvey show and, happily, she ended up getting the job she was applying for live on air.

Don't yhey have to sign release forms? otherwise I thought they have to blur people out.

Hmmm...potentially embarrassing, awkward or job-losing situation...better post it on social media.
