Look this up as this entire thing is misleading. Video game addiction is now classified as a disorder. It can be just as addicting as gambling, drugs, or alcohol. It is a recognized condition in several countries. There are some people who have died playing games nonstop for days. This gives people access to resources that they previously wouldn't have had.

to be fair if you played games nonstop until you literally died there was probably a few other issues going on there
