naofumi is one of the most badass isekai MCs. he was dealt a shit hand (shield), was betrayed almost right off the bat, and had no one on his side, yet he still managed to turn it all around. Subaru has a crazy strong mental, seeing as he hasn't gone completely insane (granted he had his ups and downs) and has managed to put his powers to good use
