Is that baby bird alive or not bc it looks really unhealthy

So my sis in law just gave birth.
Me: human babies are ugly, they have weird colours, almost no hair nor eyebrow, to mention hella loud.
My mother: you're not supposed to say that!
Me: I won't say that to her but between you and me and everyone, all human babies are ugly.
