When I read Percy Jackson, Annabeth constantly reminded me of Hermione.
I could never really get into the Hunger Games books, but I do like Katniss in the movie.
If people actually took the time and had the intelligence to read Twilight, rather than going along with overly used and unjust insults, they'd see how ridiculous such comments really are. I mean, you don't have to like the series, but at least have some legit reasons not to. And for people who blow off this whole little speech, Twilight is still a better love story than your love life.
Book one:
Bella found out her crush is a vampire, her blood is addictive, and is saved from being sucked dry. And she had a perfect boyfriend now.
Book two:
Her perfect boyfriend leaves, and she is left a shell of her former self. Then her best friend and his extended family turn into animagus and he decides to woo her, but then she goes and saves her perfect boyfriend.
Book three:
A vampire after Bella's blood for revenge gathers an army of newborn vampires to distract the others while she eats her, but then Bella's perfect boyfriend is there and fights for her, and she ALMOST tries to kill herself to save him. This book is also when she starts begging him for sex.
Book four:
Bella gets married and gets pregnant during her honeymoon and it nearly kills her. Then she becomes a vampire worrying about vampire family things. And her child ignites a battle on a snowy battlefield that doesn't actually involve any fighting.
Yeah, that's a really good series. Very deep.
Oh, and her best friend imprints on her daughter and will grow up with her, giving her no options about who she wants to fall in love with, even though he's supposed to be 'perfect' for her.
I've read it, I've seen the movies, I've listened to the books... I used to be a twihard. But then I took a step back and realized that they really aren't quality books.
