Her accepting his death and continuing to love him adn taking care of their children and not remarrying shows that she is secure and healthy. OF COURSE there is something sick and evil about finding someone new. This is not controversial. Remarrying after death is a trillion times worse than remarrying after divorce.

Terri loves Steve with all her heart and doesnt want to remarry or date. That's awesome of her.
But some people, who lose their husband/wife very early like she did, will see that they still have many years ahead of them and dont want to face it alone
