Because that's Henry Cavill, not Superman.
Superman is from the planet Krypton.

He meant the original writers and their concepts. Superman was written by a Canadian from Toronto, Ontario. Metropolis is based on Toronto.

I loved the movie Man Of Steel they did the beginning so well even though it's not supposed to be as dramatic but still very good movie
