Someone was quoting me this statistic about more people then died in Viet Nam. I can't think of anything more unrelated. The Viet Nam war isn't famous for a huge amount of death, it's famous for bad strategy, bad tactics, and 18 year old men who couldn't afford college being used as cannon fodder.
