I'm 13, and for my birthday I asked for a stuffed panda and a new set of colored pencils... If they were less spoiled then they would only want simple things that are actually FUN they would actually get what they want. I have a free phone from the Verizon website and I think it's awesome...
The best gift i've ever gotten was my moms hand-me-down iphone 3, when she needed a new one. In my eyes it was like receiving the fricken holy grail. Everybody in my class wanted to see it. the best gift besides that was to that is my tracphone. with 60 minutes on it. Today I still see them as when I first got them. Kids are so spoiled these days.
A tip for parents:
Get you kid a track phone first. You can add minutes for texting and calling. It will teach your kids responsibility and how to manage their "data plan." Not to mention, it is MUCH cheaper than any Verizon, Sprint, etc. plan.
Well I'm 13 as well, but the only phone I've ever gotten was a hand me down flip phone. It sucked, but I loved it till the very end. People need to appreciate what they got. -_-
I still don't get why adults have to have the latest phone. It's a fuckin' PHONE! Jesus, I remember when I was in school, people would think you were gay if you were into phones like most people are now. Wtf happened???
I am 13 and I have a 5 I wanted a ipod but my parents gave me a iphone anyway. Now seeing a post like this and a bunch of 6graders having more then 7 electronics that act like dicks to teachers and still get stuff from parents I saw a flunked 7th grader and guess what he had after that a Mac and Samsun phone
You should be grateful! I volunteer at shelters and one Christmas a man bought in a bunch of little gifts for the children like puzzles and socks and they were crying tears of joy because they were so happy. Be grateful for what you have, you have it better than most people.
