FLIP-FLOP

I was thinking of people sitting on the pavement..

My mind went somewhere else, and made no sense

So our gym teacher calls flip flops 'thongs' as well and he told us one time these three girls were wearing flip flops to his gym class. So then he called them over and said 'girls, how many times do I have to tell you not to wear thongs to gym class' and the girls thinking it was like the underwear thong, has these surprised and freaked out looks saying 'how did he know?!' true story

I always get confused when my Australian friends say "thongs" bc in Ireland we call them flip flops too xD
