I live in the valley (also CA) and while I'm the same way, everyone I know thinks it's weird.

What part of the valley? Sorry if that's weird, but I live there too, so I'm just curious.

Stockton, CA. The sweltering asscrack of the entire state. I don't plan on being here much longer, though. If all goes well, I'll be out of here before the kid is ready for school.

In Canada, today with the humidex it hit 39!!! People always say "100 degrees today" but I always assumed it was because 100 degrees is boiling point in C.

I just used an online calculator to change it from fahrenheit to celsius, because I live in Australia and we use celsius. 100 degrees fahrenheit is only 37 degrees celsius. It gets to like 52 degrees celsius here, which is apparently 125 degrees fahrenheit. What is all the fuss about its not that hot.
