I went through a phase like this with my mom. Like one time she went to go check the mail (we live in an apartment) and she was gone for more than 10 minutes so I called her and she didn't answer and I freaked out and started crying. She came back like a second after I called her.

This is why i ALWAYS tell my mom i love her before she walks out the door to go do something, its a habit that ive had since i was child for the very reason that i thought something bad would happen to her.

I always say i love you to my parents when they leave..

My mom NEVER let's us o anywhere before saying "I love you"
