I don't really get vegetarians..... They don't eat neat because it kills animals, but it's not like they will stop killing the animals, they make it worse. The animal is killed, then not eaten, and you would not eat them, so they get killed for no reason

It's a form of expression against what they believe is a social injustice. It doesn't have to have an actual effect, as long as the point is made. Or... They really hate the taste of meat. Or they have dietary needs. Or it's a phase. Maybe his/her significant other loved meat, and this is some almost subconscious way to get back at that, like, total asshole omg. Perhaps Rick Astley descended from the heavens and spoke unto them "thou shalt not eat meat." Maybe you said that "omg" in a female voice because you never heard a man call a woman an asshole. It could be that you only read the first line, glanced down, saw the name Rick Astley, and decided to read the rest of the comment.
