I don't really like the Beatles personally, but I stillrecognize that they were GOOD. I don't like them, but I do respect them.

I think it all depends on how understanding you are. If someone gives you shit for liking something else just fuckin' let it go. Smile and nod. Then walk away and go enjoy listening to The Beatles. And guess what? Nothing. You'll forget about that idiot quickly.
