She was famous, beautiful, struggled with her life career wise, and with her relationships, and she's dead. That's all teenage girls need to look up to.

Audrey Hepburn would be a better rolemodel though. Her struggle while world war 2 left her with something she became famous for.

Well I like her because although she was an orphan and felt like she belonged to no one, she put on a show for everyone because she wanted us to be happy even if she was so upset she killed herself. She was confused and misunderstood and while she was a pretty face she thought nothing of Norma Jean and knew all she would ever be is Marilyn Monroe because everyone loved someone she made up more than they like the sad girl who created her. It's a different perspective.

She didn't kill herself, she overdosed.

That's still suicide. She's the one that ingested the pills and she's the one that died. Even if she didn't mean it. She took them bc she was sad and couldn't sleep not because it was an "accident"

Accidental death is not suicide. Suicide is intentionally killing yourself. I almost killed myself once by taking a medication I didn't know I was allergic to, but even if I had been depressed at the time and it had been an anti-depressant I didn't almost commit suicide.
