Make the tea with a microwave

Our coffee maker can make tea. That is probably considered barbaric to them too.

You don't have kettles?! The first thing you do when you get your first place is get a kettle! The first thing that gets unpacked when you move is the kettle! Do the Americans find it weird that I have a kettle, a teapot, a tea caddy and a tea cozy?

I dont use a kettle, i just use an ordinary pot to make tea.

As an American my family doesn't use a microwave nor kettle, my grandmother uses cooks it in a pot on a stove. My mother uses a Kuerig
