It's not bout defending the cat. If u have pets and u have kids u should teach your kids that's not how u treat animals. Yes it's a kid. But he got what he had coming.

My cat has done something similar to me. He was on a bad mood and I picked him up. I told him "you're the devil cat". Three seconds later I was screaming because he attacked my face. He knocked my glasses off my face but I got him off before he could go any farther.

I hope the kid has deep scratches on its face and also broke his/her neck/spine in the fall
