Is that because you think your information isn't safe? because there are many different types of cloud storage with different protocals that don't have the potential to be broken or lost like external drives

I also keep a back up folder on my computer and 2 flash drives with the same contents on them. Flash drives are easier and more convenient to use for school rather than a storage cloud.

It skipped sd cards which is what I go for especially the micro ones.
