As a redhead I can sadly say that even in the summer I'm barely more tan than that (T_T)

I feel his pain. My dad is French and my mam is ginger and sadly, instead of inheriting my dads tan skin, I got my mams Irish, redhead skin but dark hair. I FEEL THE PAIN!

That's genetics for you. Even tho you theoretically have a 50/50 chance it is really more like 90/10 (90 bad genes, 10 good ones).
