Yes. BBC modified it to fit modern day, and have casted it beautifully

But BBC didn't exist 150 years ago. And the first Sherlock book was written in 1927, and 150 years ago is the 1860's, so they must be talking about Les Mis

Maybe they were exaggerating? And BBC modified it. In this century. Like you can do with pretty much any book.

It said a book. The TV show isn't a book. And she didn't say book series, which Sherlock Holmes is. And 150 is kind of precise when it comes to when Les Mis was published.

For the record to everyone here, Sherlock didn't exist 150 years ago. The person states they wrote their thing based on a book from 150 years ago, which is the 1860's, when Les Miserables was written. Sherlock Holmes started at the fore front of the twentieth century.
