It's astonishing and kinda sad how many people (of all genders) think the very base of a happy relation is "giving and getting it" to/from their SO and how "good" the respective performance is. I've heard quite a few women say, if that was true, there would be sooo many more single men... just saying.
Im in a partnership, marraige, sexless due to illness. We both need each other. Sex was a part of our relationship at one point but now it isnt. Its not a be all end all. That would be being disrespectful to the other, not helping each other, not supporting the other, not laughing. God we laugh and its sooo wonderful! With tears and belly laughs!

This is sooo wholesome <3
.
I'm also in a +20 year relationship and things haven't been the same as in the beginning, in many aspects. What we have experienced is, that all these aspects come in a lot of forms and shapes. Expressing our love physically has changed and will change and the experience is not limited to one single action. All the best for the two of you!
