No it's disigned so you don't have to have 3d mode on when playing white cartridges ( not that you actually have to it's just that 3ds games look better in 3d mode

Really not that bad, I have a 3ds and I'm still going to buy it. Always will be a Nintendo baby!

you console gamers need to stop judging by its looks. As a pc gamer, the only thing that matters is the inside, the inner power of the system (cpu/gpu, etc.)
