I feel so awkward telling my parents anything

My mom wonders why I hide stuff from her, but she's the one who freaks out whenever I try to tell her something like "So I'm happy I got a B on this really hard test."

My mom freaked out at me and started calling me selfish when I tried to tell her THIS.

If you lie they get mad, if you tell the truth they get mad like ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS

Kinda depends on what you tell them too. You can't expect to tell your parents you sneaked out last night, did a bunch of drugs and drank and then drove around town and then expect your parents to laugh it all off just because you told them about it. Extreme example but you get the idea
