Well, I'm against smoking and all that. But I'm mostly against people starting the habit, because I remember one time when my mom quit for about six months . . . OH MY GOD. It was unbelievable. She depressed and angry and irritated all the time and she was even more stressed out than usual and she took this all out on ME so I became miserable and depressed and angry and irritated and stressed out. It was awful.
Anyways, my point is that she should be allowed to keep on smoking because that was hell.
It'll be hell either way because smoking eventually deteriorates your lungs, making it difficult for better oxygen, and that will be a pretty bad concern for the senior days, and I've done some research cause I know that feel, my dad is a smoker but a couple days without a smoke gets him really agitated and irritable, but once you stop you get used to it for a while,so I guess it's a standstill for now. :/
Of course. They've been smoking all their lives just to get a lethal disease and piss the government off. You can try to make them stop smoking all you want, some just CAN'T STOP! It's an addiction. Some people also say that obese people should lose health care if they don't lose weight. Some people just don't get it. We should try to help them stop smoking or losing weight or quitting any other bad habit that slowly kills them in any way we can. But just saying "You are not allowed to smoke anymore." is not going to achieve anything.
Shouldn't be "You are not allowed to smoke anymore." just "As long as you smoke, other people are not going to pay for your lung cancer treatment" Or, "As long as you are 400# overweight, other people are not going to pay for your diabetes treatment"
Anyways, my point is that she should be allowed to keep on smoking because that was hell.
