You can get a nice mac for under 1000. And it's usability depends on what you're using it for which for most people is just browsing the internet.

i edit videos and do business and download things from chrome. not so easy on a mac

I also edit videos. for school. maybe not so cinematic but I do it with my mac and the simplicity of it is very comforting and downloads from chrome work fine which ones are you talking about?

i download things and it says "this file cannot be opened because it is a file downloaded from the internet"

That shouldn't be a restriction it should ask for your password and you should be fine. IDK. It works well enough for my taste.

Windows doesn't shut down randomly. You either have a virus, you didn't turn off auto update or postpone the restart or there's some faulty component in your system.
