Unless you're the Doctor, because he's prone to overshooting the date. But then again he could always go back to the day and not have overshot at all... But then he wouldn't be allowed to be at the same place on the same day that he overshot to, because that's crossing his timestream, and he can't do that and... Ah fuck timetravel is complicated.

You CAN cross your timestream as long as you don't meet yourself in the past or the present you from the future will cease to exist also making the other person cease to exist since he interacted with a nonexistent item
