maybe they did the trick wear you wet the rim and stick paper to it then you can flip it upside down

You put liquid in both glasses, but not completely full, then put the rims together quickly and you've done it!!!

Maybe you notice this was done by the parent's. Especially since there is a damn plate next, to a box of Captain Crunch. No one just opens a box of Captain Crunch to look at it.

Pack one glass 1/2 full with ice. Fill other glass 3/4 liquid. Put glass with ice upside down and as it melts the liquid will rise.

Erhm, no?! When water freeze it expands by 10%. When it melts the liquid would sink, not rise.
