Soo... It seems to me that this is how it went
1. Nobody talked about Miley Cyrus for awhile.
2. Suddenly she does some risque things on the VMAs and she is all anyone is talking about.
3. Wrecking Ball video became popular
4. Everyone hated it and trashed her.
5. Suddenly everyone is saying that Wrecking Ball was a great piece of art about her recent failed relationship.
6. People love Miley again and no one is allowed to trash her.
Am I the only one around here that is still wondering why we are supposed to care about any of this?
Excuse me I love her.the only reason people hate her is because she changed a lot. Rihanna is worse than this so you can go back to your corner now. Thx
Rihanna was never a role model for little girls under the age of 11 so the fact that Miley turned herself into the biggest piece of trash I've ever seen was her own fault & she deserves the sort of comments she receives.
She's just horrible.
No one deserves hate. Just stop right now. Bullying is abusive, no matter whether or not the person is a celebrity. You can disapprove of their life decisions, but attacking them and being straight up rude is not okay. I don't give a crap whether or not she was ever a "role-model" for young girls. She has her own life, and she's gotta make her own decisions. It's America's fault for telling kids to idolize celebrities, when it's pretty obvious that they're going to inevitably screw up. Rant over. Peace out.
While I completely agree with you about bullying, she does bring a lot of the negativity on herself. There isn't anything wrong with being yourself & having fun. But she pushes way past that & goes to borderline disgusting. 'Wrecking Ball' has really meaningful lyrics, but nobody is going to take her seriously after watching 'We Can't Stop'. That video was offensive to watch. I had high hopes for her when she was all engaged & mature. She just needs to take a break & recollect herself again before putting herself back out there.
I'm upset because I just heard the song for the first time today (forgive me) and I think it's actually a pretty nice song but her video just complete ruined it.
Edit: changed 'get' to 'her'. Mistype.
