Well, are you sure a live-action movie adaptation a cartoon would work very well? i mean, look at The Last Airbender movie.

Avatar The last airbender had the potential to be an amazing live action movie but they screwed it up by casting young inexperienced actors, and by hastily throwing in special effects and rapidly changing the format to 3D. As well as essentially turn the first and last episodes of the first season into a movie and just cramming and rushing in the rest of the season.

True, true, it had potential. But all your hopes were abolished with M. Night Shamalamadingdong directing it.
