But yeah, leg day; you don't have to just train your legs only as the post suggests, but when you do train the legs, it can be very strenuous since it is the largest muscle group. Two days after the workout, the damaged muscle fibres stimulate the release of prostaglandins, which in turn stimulate pain sensors creating the condition known as DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness). DOMS in the legs can be very painful. The harder the workout, the more the pain felt. Walking down stairs in particularly difficult.
