I'm pretty sure Lilo and Stitch 2 wasn't actually supposed to count as an actual part of the series considering they completely disregarded everything that happened in that movie, also there isn't really a time frame it fits into (because Stitch The Movie was supposed to take place very shortly after he first movie and the Lilo and Stitch 2 was supposed to take place before the series so I can't really find a time where that would fit in)
Either that, or was Murtle really known for telling the truth? They actually bring up her not having a dad multiple times in the series
