How come if I use a comeback like this is the stupidest thing any one can say

It's always Hitler
Why can't it be King Henry VIII?
Or Napoleon? I mean, you could say this about them both:
"On a scale of one to invade Russia in winter, how bad is your idea?"
"Oh, converting all of Britain to my own version of our religion where I am the leader just so I can annul my marriages."

It's also like saying if you're not Jean Val-Jean, you can't judge Jean Val-Jean.

That's like saying,"If you aren't Atheist, you can't judge Atheists." HELLLOOO... People do it everyday
