Let's be honest. Kids will have sex no matter what. If they want to they'll do it. Isn't it better to protect them and teach them about sex and give out protection rather than making it seem like a scary thing.
Okay I see your point however, how do you explain the difference in unplanned teen pregnancy between the USA and say India? There is no sex ed in India, so less of the youth are having sex. But sex ed is prevalent in the USA, causing an increase in teenage sex
(Oh goodie, I think everyone was expecting a nuclear fall out.) Honestly I think sex and talking about sex is very taboo here. I'm from Europe and I feel that sex (and especially alcohol) are topics that you can talk comfortably about. Here I feel that people feel uncomfortable when couples kiss in public while in Europe its not a big deal. But this is my view....
